In observance of the upcoming Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 1, 2025, EDCO will not perform residential or commercial collection services, and the customer service office and buyback center will be closed. As a result, residential and commercial customers will experience a one-day delay all week following the holiday.
In El Segundo, La Mirada and Rancho Palos Verdes, commercial customers will experience a one-day delay all week.
In Lakewood and Signal Hill, only residential curbside customers will experience a one-day delay in collection. Lakewood and Signal Hill’s commercial businesses’ waste and recycling collection services will remain unaffected by the holiday and will be provided on the regularly scheduled service day.
EDCO’s public disposal site will remain open on Monday, September 1st.
